I assume O.J. is kicking himself for not killing everyone in the room, covering himself in their DNA, and going golfing. You have to stick with what works. What the Hell was he thinking?

Wait… what?

By The Dude | July 25, 2007

I was just browsing the headlines of the Providence Journal and came across this one:

State OKs sale of DOT building that houses strip club

PROVIDENCE — As of next week, the state may no longer be the owner of a building that houses a strip club.

That’s right. Apparently, a building that houses a strip club is owned by the state (more specifically, the DOT, which only raises more questions). I can’t help but wonder how this arrangement developed.

It’s just one more example of the Man screwing with you, Dude. Both Figuratively and Literally! We must abide!

Figure this one out. I was in my deluxe cube (window view) this morning minding my own business, drinking a cup of motivation and scanning Monster for a job. I was laying low ‘cause there has been a major re-org in the works and heads were flying. For the first time since I been here the Sr. VP of Human Resources pops on in to my cube and asks, “Do you got a second”? My first instinct was that I was probably getting the axe and wanted to reply, “Not right now, Lumbergh, I’m kinda busy. In fact, look, I’m gonna have to ask you to just go ahead and come back another time. I got a meeting with the Bobs in a couple of minutes. But I figured I might not actually be getting fired just yet so I quickly minimized Monster and said, “Sure, how I can help”. Turns out the man needed me to do his work for him. He was preparing for a presentation next week and instead of earning his huge salary he passed the buck on down. My question is this, what should I make him say?

That is not right Michael.
